Climate

Weather in the Hawaiian Islands is very consistent with only minor changes in temperature throughout the year. There are really only two seasons in Hawaii: summer from May to October and winter from November to April. The average daytime summer temperature at sea level is 85° F (29.4° C), while the average daytime winter temperature is 78° (25.6° C). Temperatures at night are approximately 10° F lower than the daytime.

Entry Requirements

Canadian citizens are required to show a valid passport or Nexus card when entering any part of the United States. All travelers flying on a U.S. domestic flight must present at check-in and security points a photo ID issued at the state or federal level, such as a state driver’s license, military ID, or a passport. Electrical

On Hawaii the standard voltage is 120 V and the frequency is 60 Hz; same as Continental U.S. Adapters or converters are not required.

Time Zone

Hawaii has a time zone all to itself ... Hawaii Standard Time all year. There is no Daylight Saving Time in Hawaii. During our trip dates, prior to Sunday, March 8th, Hawaii Standard Time is five hours earlier than the U.S. mainland’s Eastern Standard Time. Beginning Sunday, March 8th at 2:00 AM on the mainland, Hawaii Standard Time will be six hours earlier than the U.S. mainland’s Eastern Daylight Saving Time.
