Climate:   Temperatures during October and November can be quite warm ... averaging in the high 80's, while only dropping into the mid-to high 70's at nighttime. And while October can be rainy (averaging 9 inches in Bangkok), November rains average between 2 and 2 ½ inches during the month. Entry Requirements:    
   Thailand:   U.S. or Canadian Citizens staying for less than 30 days do not require a Visa, but must possess a valid passport.
 
   Vietnam/Cambodia:   U.S. or Canadian Citizens require a valid passport and a visa.

   Note:   We suggest packing a photocopy of your picture located on the inside page of your passport, and keeping it in a separate location from where you keep your passport. It will speed up governmental procedures should you misplace your passport during your travels.
 
Medical Information:  
  • Carry both your health insurance identity card as proof of such insurance and a claim form.
  • 4-6 weeks before traveling see your health care provider to find out what shots and prescriptions are recommended for your personal needs.
  • Drugs to prevent malaria, called anti-malarials are available only by prescription through a health care provider. Travelers going to Asia should discuss the benefits of these medications with their doctor.
  • Insect repellents with DEET are recommended.
  • Sunblock and sunglasses should be purchased, in advance, in the U.S.
  • Make sure you have sufficient prescription medications for your trip.
